Evangelos Pertsas
Dr. Pertsas received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He worked as a rural physician in Rodopolis Health and then started his residency in cardiology in General Hospital of Veria. He moved to Thessaloniki where he completed his residency in “Panagia” General Hospital, followed by a fellowship program, in “G. Papanikolaou” General Hospital, in Critical Care. From 2003 he works as consultant at the Intensive Care Unit of St. Paul General Hospital of Thessaloniki, Greece. His main research interest is echocardiography in Intensive Care (both Transthoracic and Transesophagial).
