Péter Tamás
Péter Tamás graduated in 2006 from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Informatics at the University of Miskolc, Hungary with an MSc. in mechanical engineering. He completed his Ph.D. work in the field of material handling systems and logistics information technology in 2012. He has worked as an assistant professor since 2011, an associate professor since 2017 and vice dean from 2017. As a lecturer on numerous logistics subjects in the fields of process improvement at the BSc, MSc and Ph.D. levels, he has professional responsibility in more lean educational programs. Dr. Tamás’ research area is focused on simulation modeling, lean process improvement, and planning of the logistics systems. He has published almost 100 research papers, book chapters, and conference proceedings.
