Khadija Qureshi

Dr Khadija Qureshi is working as Professor in the department of Chemical Engineering, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro. She also remained the chairperson of the department and has 21 years teaching experience. Under Pakistan – US Science and Technology Program she collaborated with University of Arizona, USA and her Water Quality Research Projects focuses on ground water treatment for the removal of arsenic. Her research is focused on preparing cheap adsorbent from agriculture waste for utilization of treatment of water and wastewater. She has in her credit more than twenty-five publications published in international conferences and peer reviewed journals. Total Impact factor is 25. She has organized fifteen International Conferences in Malaysia, UAE, Czech Republic, UAE, Spain and Turkey. She has presented scientific papers in Poland, Germany, Romania, Indonesia, Singapore, Greece and Turkey. She is also Chief Editor of the International Journal of Chemical and Environmental Engineering and President of Society of Women Engineer affiliated with SWE, USA. She is a key trainer for capacity building and training women in Professional fields. She remained the Vice-president Alumni MUET 2011, Executive Member Alumni MUET 2017 and presently working as General Secretary Alumni MUET 2018-2019. She also remained the Executive Member, Mehran University Teacher Association 2017. Founder of Mehran University, Chemical Engineering Society.
