Carlos Palacios Riocerezo
Dr. Carlos Palacios Riocerezo finished his veterinary degree at the University of León in 1991, and since then he has been working as a veterinary technician, specialized in sheep, in the fields of animal reproduction and nutrition. In 2020, he accepted a position of Full Professor at the University of Salamanca where he is in charge of teaching the Animal Production Area of the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Since 2013, he has been accredited by ANECA as a Hired Doctor Professor. Since 2017, he has worked as the Assistant Professor Doctor where he teaches 6 subjects related to the degree of Agricultural Engineering and the Master of Agricultural Engineering. From September 2010 to 2018 he was a member of the group of experts for organic production of the European Community. He has written 21 book chapters and 3 books. He has attended and made 131 talks, conferences, collaborations, presentations and posters. He has participated in projects outside Spain promoted by governments, companies or livestock associations in Colombia, Mexico, Dubai. In addition to being tutor to 9 master students of the Universidad Autónoma de México, he has directed 71 final projects at the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences of the University of Salamanca.
