Tahseen Kamal is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry at the King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. After obtaining all his basic education in Pakistan, he moved to South Korea in August 2009 for pursuing PhD. He got his PhD degree from the Department of Polymer Science & Engineering at the Kyungpook National University in August 2014. During his PhD career, he worked at the Korean synchrotron (Pohang Accelerator Laboratory, POSTECH) and nuclear facility (KAERI, Daejeon) and Taiwanese synchrotron (NSRRC, Hsinchu Science Park). He extensively characterized the liquid crystal polymers, semi-crystalline polymers and elastomers by SAXS/WAXS/SANS techniques. He joined the Department of Chemistry at King Abdulaziz University as an assistant professor in the January 2015 and continued his research work at the Center of Excellence for Advanced Materials Research in the same university. Currently, his research is focused on the applications of the polymeric materials for various uses.
