Wentao Xu received his PhD degree from China Agricultural University. He is an Associate Professor in the College of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering, China Agriculture University, and a principal investigator at Beijing Advanced Innovation Center for Food Nutrition and Human Health. His research interests are in Functional Nucleic Acid Biosensors in Food Safety and Precision toxicology. He has published more than 150 papers and two monographs, including “Functional Nucleic Acid Detection in Food Safety: Theories and Applications”. He also serves as The Editor in Chief of \Journal of DNA and RNA Research\.
