Dr. Farha Sattar has completed a Doctorate degree in Geospatial Science focused on Spatial Mathematical Modelling for 3D Gully Mapping and Erosion Quantification within Geoinformatics Framework from the Charles Darwin University, Australia. Dr. Farha Sattar has more than twenty-four years teaching experience in teaching Geographic Information Systems, Spatial Mathematics and e-Learning technologies at undergraduate and postgraduate level. She has worked in several universities including University of the Punjab and University of Twente, the Netherlands. Dr. Farha has been working at Charles Darwin University, Australia since 2008. Prior to joining School of Education, she had worked as Lecturer GIS in the School of Environment, Charles Darwin University and Lecturer in GIS in the GIS Centre, University of the Punjab, and Project Manager GIS/LIS in the National Database and Registration Authority, Pakistan. Dr. Farha is well equipped with geospatial quantitative techniques and methods and has the experience to supervise research projects at postgraduate level. She has been an active member of the Higher Education Commission and had contributed to curriculum development of GIS, RS and Geography courses. Her research interests include Drone Technology, ICT in Geospatial Science, Spatial Mathematics education, GIS, and Remote Sensing.
