Mohammed Abouheaf

He received the BSc and MSc degrees in electronics and communications engineering from Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2000 and 2006 respectively, and the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, Texas, USA, in 2012. He worked as Adjunct Faculty at University of Texas at Arlington, United States. Then, he served as assistant professor at Aswan University, Egypt and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia. He is currently with the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Canada. He is a recipient of the Journal of Control Theory and Technology-2016 best paper award. He authored and co-authored multiple Scholarly Technical Journals, Referred Conference Papers, and Book Chapters in the fields of smartgrid technologies, machine learning, systems and controls, and applied mathematics. He served as guest editor in many special issues related to applications of the artificial intelligence in energy and robotics fields.
