Sakthinathan Ganapathy Pandian

Dr. G. Sakthinathan, Associate Professor at the Department of Production Technology, MIT Campus, Anna University, Chennai is presently serving as the Dean in charge of Anna University Regional Campus, Tirunelveli. His area of research specialization is alternate energy resources and the resources for different applications. His research on hydrogen energy and its storage was his research topic during his Ph.D. which he obtained from Internal Combustion Engineering Division, Anna University, India. He joined Anna Univeristy as a Teaching faculty in the year 2002 and rose to the current position in the year 2014. He is one of the active consultants in resource management and waste management and has 9 projects to his credit to this date. He is a reviewer of many national and international journals. He has a publications of around 25 papers in reputed journals. He has three research projects out of which two are from Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. He is guiding 9 PhD students and 42 post graduate engineering students in the domain of Energy management. He was awarded with Abdul Kalam Seva Ratna Award in the year 2016. Dr. G. Sakthinathan is associated with many collaborative researches in the field of applications of nanotechnology in energy and waste management. At present, his prime research is on fuels deriving from waste marine resources.
