Opeyemi Elujulo

Elujulo is a well-trained ecologist and community development actor with over 5 years of technical competence working to advance climate actions, biodiversity conservation, agroecology, and youth mobilization for actions in Nigeria and beyond. He represents various national and international organizations including Youth for Our Planet, as steering committee member and regional mobilizer for Africa, Nourish Scotland Fork to Farm Dialogue as a steering committee member, Care About Climate USA as a Climate Ambassador Mentor, and Youth4Nature as a Country Ambassador. He is a member of the African Youth in Forestry, Co-Founder and Director of climate change and sustainable development at World Ecological Concepts Ltd., Founder and Partnerships Director at Youth for The Environment, and a Young Professional with the IUCN Commission on Ecosystem Management and World Commission on Protected Areas West and Central Africa. He holds a background in Zoology, and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Control and Management from Obafemi Awolowo University. Elujulo is a current postgraduate candidate and student soil researcher at the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta. Driven by his academic and professional expertise, Elujulo focuses on promoting climate and nature conservation actions in Nigeria and beyond, with a bias for nature-based solutions. He seeks to contribute significantly towards the achievement of the goal of sustainable development through relevant actions and research for the benefit of man and nature.
