Michael Soderstrand
Dr. Michael A. Soderstrand is a retired full Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of California, Davis and Oklahoma State University. He spent 26 years at University of California, Davis, including 5 years as Vice Chair of the Department and 6 years as Head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Oklahoma State University. He won the Myril B. Reed Best Paper Award for the 2000 IEEE International Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems and has published over 200 articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He was the Chair of the 1997 and 2002 IEEE International Midwest Symposia on Circuits and Systems held in Sacramento, CA and Tulsa, OK respectively. He will co-chair with Prof. Jong-Moon Chung the 2011 IEEE International Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems to be held in Seoul Korea August 7-10, 2011. Dr. Soderstrand is a Fellow of the IEEE.
