Mohd Fadhil Md Din
Dr. Mohd Fadhil Md Din graduated from UTM in 1999, also holding a Master of Engineering in 2001 after graduating a bachelor's degree in 1999 as a Tutor. Then, completed my Master's level under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azmi Aris (UTM, Malaysia). Then, further study under a double-program, between UTM (Malaysia) and TUDelft (The Netherlands). The study is comprehended with Dutch- Malaysian collaborations under the Ph.D. scheme, which usually for the mutual international networking under the supervision of Datuk Seri Prof. Ir. Dr. Zaini Ujang (UTM, Malaysia) and Prof. Ir. M.C.M. van Loosdrecht (TU Delft, The Netherlands). He has made over 278 technical and scientific contributions (book chapters, books, proceedings, popular articles, conferences, and workshops). He is honored by several funding grants and prestigious awards. He is now working under campus sustainability as a champion in the environmental and sustainable operational framework on the campus. His expertise in environmental sciences and application, environmental management system (EMS), environmental impact assessment (EIA), risk management, and transportation projects (mobility transformational agenda). He involves in environmental science and engineering for undergraduate and postgraduate courses, specializing in water and wastewater treatment, biotechnology and bioengineering, fundamental chemical sciences, and river rehabilitation, particularly issues related to developing countries. He received several awards and recognition from various categories, national and international levels.
