Danijela Poljuha
Dr. Danijela Poljuha graduated in molecular biology at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, Croatia, where she also obtained a Master’s degree (MSc) and a Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Natural Sciences. During the first years of her professional carrier in grape and olive genetics she installed a brand new Genetic laboratory and introduced molecular techniques at the Institute of Agriculture and Tourism. She spent two months as a visiting researcher at Centro di ricerca per la viticoltura (CRA-VIT) in Conegliano, Italy, and collaborated on many national and international scientific projects. She now works as Associate Research Scientist at the Istrian Development Agency in Pula, Croatia, where she established a new Biotechnical Department.
