Tuan Anh Nguyen (Ph.D.'15, M.Sc.'10, B.Eng.'08) currently holds the position of Academic Research (Assistant) Professor of Aerospace Design-Airworthiness Research at the Konkuk Aerospace Design-Airworthiness Research Institute (KADA) at Konkuk University in Seoul, South Korea. He is now a professional member of AIAA, IEEE, IEEE Computer Society. He earned his PhD in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from the Department of Computer Engineering at Korea Aerospace University in 2015. He received his MSc and BEng in Mechatronics from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2010 and 2008, respectively. Prior to his current role, Dr. Nguyen served as an Research (Assistant) Professor in the Office of Research at the University-Industry Cooperation Foundation at Konkuk University from March 2016 to February 2020. He also held the position of Post-doctoral Research Associate in the Distributed Multimedia Systems Laboratory (DMS Lab) at Konkuk University from August 2015 to February 2016 and a PhD Research Associate in the Network Security and Systems Laboratory (NS Lab) at Korea Aerospace University from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, he worked as a Research Engineer in the TRON Laboratory and F-Space Laboratory at FPT Software and FPT Technology Research Institute (FTRI) in Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2008 and 2009-2010, respectively. His current research fields of interests include Dynamics and Control Theory and Systems, AI-based Digital Twin Systems and Methods, Computer Science and Software Engineering with a specialization in Dependable, Autonomous, and Intelligent Systems, Dependable Computing and Fault-Tolerance of Systems and Networks, and Mechatronics and Aerospace Robotic Systems.
