Feng Ma
Dr. Feng MA, PhD, MD. Male, Stem Cell Biologist and Pediatric Hematologist. He graduated from Nanjing Medical University in 1983, and worked as a pediatrician at Zhenjiang No.1 Hospital from 1983 to 1988. Since then, he worked at the Children’s Hospital of Suzhou University and got his Master Degree in Medical Science. He went to Japan in 1996 and gained his PhD degree in Medical Science at the University of Tokyo in 2000. After then, he has been serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and then an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Medical Science, University of Tokyo and Kyoto University. Dr. MA’s recent main research has been focusing on human ES / iPS cell-derived hematopoietic cells and their possible use in clinical applications. He is now a Professor of the Chinese Academy of Medical Science (CAMS) and the Director of the Division of Stem Cell Therapy at the Institute of Blood Transfusion, CAMS.
