Jarosław Górecki is an assistant professor working at the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology, Ph.D. (Eng.) (2014). He is the author of the COMAR method for a cost risk analysis in civil engineering projects. Since 2008, he is a certified expert in thermal characteristics and energy performance of buildings. Since 2009, a certified civil engineer (construction management) and a member of the Polish Chamber of Civil Engineers. Since 2014, an expert witness in the area of construction. Dr. Górecki is associated with the European Academy of Management (EURAM). He is also a certified expert of The National Centre for Research and Development and a member of scientific committees of international conferences (CEPPIS – the founder, EUCEET, IABMAS, IBIMA etc.). CEPPIS conference series was founded in order to i.a. promote sustainable behavior in construction industry. Jarosław Górecki has conducted research on construction investment projects executed by enterprises, that is cost analysis of investment projects, risk management in the projects, review of project management methods, review of project risk evaluation methodology, market research, etc. He is the vice-president and a member of the board at the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians Office Bydgoszcz. His main interests are: construction management, especially decision-making problems, and risk management as well as project management maturity, and circular economy.
