Dr. Alessandro Rizzardo graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2010, at the University of Udine (Italy), with a score of 105/110 with a thesis conducted on 124 patients entitled 'Constipation induced by major opioids in chronic pain therapy: comparison of morphine oxycodone fentanyl and buprenorphine'. In 2016, he received a Specialist Diploma in Anesthesia, Resuscitation, Intensive Care and Analgesic Therapy, at the University of Udine, with a score of 105/110 with a thesis conducted on 72 patients entitled 'Cognitive functions and reaction times in patients on chronic opioid therapy: comparison between 'Vienna Test' and SafeDrive'. Dr. Rizzardo received his Medical licence on 2011, and in the same year he has won the AISD Young Award, at the 34th AISD Congress, Riccione (Italy). From 2011 to 2012 he completed the Biennial Specialization Course in Pain Therapy and Cure Palliative - ISAL Foundation Rimini. Dr. Rizzardo worked from 2011 until 2016 at the School of Specialization in Anesthesia, Resuscitation and Analgesic (University of Udine, Italy), and as a Medical Resident in Anesthesia and Intensive Care C/O Anesthesia Clinic Udine - AOU, University Hospital Level III (Udine, Italy). From 2011 to 2014 he held the position of a Resident in the operating rooms, and performed the function of Obstetric Anesthetic Guard. Dr. Rizzardo, was an Interdepartmental anesthetic guard for emergency surgery for general surgery, from 2012. In 2013 he has completed a specialized training in Convention at the SOC of Anesthesia and intensive care C/O I.R.C.C.S. maternal infant Burlo Garofolo. From 2014 he was a Day and Night watchman in the ICU, continuing to serve as the Resident in surgery. Since 2015 he acts as a Medical Emergency Team (MET) in-hospital day and night, where he conducts anesthesia Guard function for emergency surgeries. In 2015 he completed a specialized training in the Convention at the UOS Cardioanestesia and Intensive Care, at the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care ULSS No. 9 Treviso (Italy). Dr. Rizzardo spent several months in specialist training at the University of Verona - Department of Anesthesiology; and at the Borgo Roma Hospital - Department of Anesthesia, Resuscitation and Analgesic, devoting himself especially to invasive approaches of Analgesic therapy. (2015-2016) From 2016 he has been an Anesthetic Guard for emergency surgery for General Surgery, Vascular, Neurosurgery, ENT, Urology, Traumatology, Thoracic, and Cardiac Surgery. In 2016 he was appointed as a Physician Anesthesiologist at Nursing Home John XXIII, Monastier di Treviso (TV), at the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care for Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, General, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Ophthalmology and Plastic Surgery.
