Dr. Yi-Hwa Wu is a Professor of Geography/GIScience at Northwest Missouri State University. She earned her bachelor’s degree and MS from National Taiwan University, both focusing on the geographic information system (GIS) modeling process. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Utah focusing on modeling the dynamic nature of urban transportation systems. Her research emphasizes the GIS database and design, GIS models, and modeling processes in various environments, such as transportation models, predictive models, etc. At Northwest Missouri State University, she teaches courses on GIS, cartography, and GIS programming.
