Jesus Manuel Munoz-Pacheco is a tenured professor in the Faculty of Electronics Sciences at Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, Mexico. Also, Dr. Munoz-Pacheco leads the research group on Fractional-order Systems and Nonlinear Circuits and is the program coordinator of Electronics Ph.D. His research interests are fractional-order circuits and systems, numerical and mathematical modeling, circuit design and applications of chaotic systems, security in the Internet of Things, and memristive systems. Along those lines, he has published several journal articles, book chapters, books, patents, and conference papers, harvesting around 1500 non-self citations and a Scopus H-index: 26. Dr. Munoz-Pacheco is rated in the top 2% of scientists in the world by Stanford University - Elsevier for the second consecutive year (2022 and 2023). He is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Numerical Modelling, Frontiers in Physics, Frontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Chaos Theory and Applications, and International Journal of Nonlinear Dynamics and Control, and Recent Advances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Additionally, he is also an Academic Editor of Complexity, Discrete Dynamics in Nature and Society as well as an Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Automation and Control, and the International Journal of Intelligent Engineering Informatics. Dr. Munoz-Pacheco has been a fellow of the Mexican System of Top-Level Researchers (SNI) since 2011, sponsored by the National Council of Science and Technology of Mexico.
