Luciano Carlos was born in 1978, in Neuquén, Argentina. He received his Chemical diploma in 2003 and his PhD in 2008 from the University of La Plata. From 2009 to 2010 he was a postdoctoral fellow at Institute of Theoretical and Applied Research on Physical Chemistry (INIFTA, La Plata, Argentina). Since 2011 he has been a member of the CONICET research career. Currently, he is Assistant Researcher at the research group on Reactive Species of Environmental and Biological Relevance (INIFTA). His research interests include (a) photochemical processes for pollutant degradation, (b) evaluation of the possible technological applications of humic substances for waste waters treatment, and (c) development of nanomaterials for the removal of pollutant from waters.
