Magdalena Chirila
Magdalena Chirila, MD, Ph.D., received her medical degree in 1995 from the Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, Romania and her PhD on the prognostic significance of the perineural invasion of cervical neoplasms in 2008, from the same medical school, where she currently is Associate Professor in the Otorhinolaryngology Department. In addition to practicing clinical medicine and head and neck surgery, Dr. Chirila is actively involved in biomedical research and teaching, and during the past 15 years, she was a dissertation coordinator in clinical medicine and biomedical research for several students. Over the past ten years, Dr. Chirila was recruited as a lecturer for numerous courses at the medical, graduate, and postgraduate levels authored 14 book chapters and many scientific articles and served as a scientific committee member for several national and international conferences.
