Sina Zereshki is currently Assistant Professor at the Chemical Engineering Department, Faculty of Energy, Kermanshah University of Technology, Kermanshah, Iran. He obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering (Separation Processes) in 2010 at the Chemical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Razi University, Kermanshah, Iran, and his MSc in Chemical Engineering (Separation Processes) in 2005 at the same university. In 2003, Dr. Zereshki obtained his BSc in Chemical Engineering (Mineral & Chemical Industries) at the Chemical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, University of Sistan & Baluchistan, Zahedan, Iran. His fields of interest include: Pervaporation, Reverse Osmosis, Energy saving, Organic-Organic Separation Using Membrane Processes, Computer Modeling and Programming etc. Dr. Zereshki has published 16 journal papers, 1 book chapter, 2 books, and attended 21 conferences. He has an H-index: 10. He has received many honors, awards and positions, such as: Vice chancellor of research and education in Kermanshah University of Technology, 2012-present; Head of Chemical Eng. Department of Kermanshah University of Technology, 2011; Ranked 1st in Ph.D Entrance Exam of Chemical Eng., Razi University, 2005; Ranked 2nd between M.Sc. Graduated Students of Chemical Eng., Razi University, 2005; Distinguished student of Chemical Eng., University of Sistan & Baluchistan, 2003.

Distillation modeling and several applications mostly in food processing field are discussed under three sections in the present book. The provided modeling chapters aimed both the thermodynamic mathematical fundamentals and the simulation of distillation process. This book could certainly give the interested researchers in distillation field a useful insight.
