A recent evidence of how IntechOpen continues to raise the standards of its publications is the International Journal of Engineering Business Management inclusion into the Scopus database.

The company is very proud to be able to add SciVerse Scopus to the list of databases where IJEBM is indexed, considering that it is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature in the world.

The journal, started in 2009 and now in its third volume, is edited by Wai Hung Ip from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China. The refereed research journal aims to promote an integrated and multi-disciplinary approach to engineering, business and management. It has so far proven to be very popular among both practicing professionals and researchers in the field of engineering business management.

This recent accomplishment from IntechOpen's staff always striving to offer the best possible service to their authors, in terms of quality of content, relevance of subject areas and citation rates of research papers, was accompanied by yet another important achievement. 630 of IntechOpen books have recently entered the Inspec database, widely recognized as the leading information resource for scientists and engineers.

In 2011 alone, the number of downloaded book chapters and articles outperformed the number of any year between 2005 and 2010 and exceeded the combined totals for each of the preceding years to currently stand at 11.1 million downloads to date.
