Narongsak Chaiyabutr
Narongsak Chaiyabutr is Professor Emeritus of Veterinary Physiology, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. He obtained his DVM from the same university, and an MS in Physiology from Mahidol University, Thailand. He completed postgraduate training in Animal Physiology and Biochemistry under an FAO fellowship at the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Denmark. He was awarded a Ph.D. with his research study at the Hannah Research Institute, Glasgow University, Scotland, UK. His current research is centered on the study of the control mechanism of mammary function during exposure to high ambient temperature in both dairy goats and crossbred dairy cattle in the tropics, relating the utilization of glucose for the synthesis of milk components in the mammary gland.
