The scope of this book entitled "New Insights in Brain-Computer Interface Systems" will be to present an overview of past and current BCI technology, development and advancement. This will include Invasive, Partially-Invasive, and Non-Invasive systems such as deep brain stimulation, EEG, ME, fNIRS and fMRI, to name a few. The book will also touch on several broad applications such as neuroergonomics, medical, smart environment, education and self-regulation, games and entertainment, neuromarketing and advertisement. A presentation of how the use of BCI is advancing technology for humanity will mainly focus on the medical applications for prevention, detection, diagnosis, rehabilitation, restoration and enhancement.
