Mauro Prato
Mauro Prato achieved the Graduate Degree in Medical Biotechnology in 2001 and the PhD Degree in Biochemistry and Cellular Biotechnology in 2005, both at the University of Turin, Italy. At this same institution, he has covered post-doc positions since 2006 and has been nominated Adjunct Professor of Biochemistry since 2008. His major research interests cover biochemistry and neuroscience fields, including cerebral malaria and nanomedicine. His scientific track-record includes 26 full articles in peer-reviewed international journals; 4 chapters in peer-reviewed international books; 8 abstracts in peer-reviewed international journals; 89 communications (33 talks and 56 posters) in well-established national/international conferences/schools; and 1 national patent.
