Dr. Craig Symes

University of Witwatersrand, South Africa

I am passionate about the natural world and value saving it for future generations. My interests lie in the natural history of African birds. I work as a lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, and in between lecturing a variety of under-graduate and post-graduate courses do research on birds. I have travelled abroad, conducting research on birds as far afield as New Guinea, Cambodia and New Zealand. By doing these exciting things I hope to enjoy my short time on this beautiful planet!
