Dr. Shafayat Abrar

Shafayat Abrar was born in Karachi, Pakistan, in 1972. He holds a B.E. degree in electrical engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan (I996) and an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia (2000). He is a faculty member of the electrical engineering department of the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT, Pakistan). In the year 2010, he completed his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at The University of Liverpool, Liverpool, UK, where he received support under the Overseas Research Students Awards Scheme (UK), The University of Liverpool (UK) and the Infrastructure Development Project (CIIT, Pakistan).
