Scope
Operational excellence is a strategy for aiming for effectiveness across all organisational processes. It pertains to organisational intelligence and leadership. With operational excellence, employees are able to see, deliver, and enhance the flow of value to customers. The strategy makes use of continuous improvement methodologies, such as lean thinking, Six Sigma, OKAPI, and scientific management, and upholds sustainability and environmental practices including environmental, social and governance (ESG) reports, United Nations’ seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and circular economy with a goal to give companies a competitive advantage in a sustainable manner.
This topic will include the subjects such as: (a) finding ways for organisations to create a roadmap toward continuous improvement in a complex business environment; (b) helping business leaders make better decisions and employees show continuous improvement; (c) improving organisational performance by streamlining processes and reducing waste, which can lead to increased efficiency and productivity; (d) helping organisations become more sustainable by reducing their environmental impact through the use of more efficient processes and technologies; (e) helping organisations become more socially responsible by improving working conditions for employees and reducing the negative impact of their operations on local communities; (f) developing methods to foster a culture where management and employee are invested in the success of the company and empowered to execute change.
