Production engineering combines manufacturing technology, engineering sciences, management science, and the optimization of complex processes, systems, or organizations. It is concerned with the comprehension and implementation of engineering techniques in manufacturing processes and methods of production. The objective is to increase efficiency, enhance production effectiveness, quality control, and lower costs while making goods more appealing and marketable. The development, improvement, and execution of integrated systems of people, money, knowledge, information, equipment, energy, materials, as well as analysis and synthesis, are all concerns of production engineering. These concepts comprise mathematical, physical, and social sciences, as well as engineering design approaches for specifying, predicting, and evaluating the outcomes of systems or processes that are presently in existence or being produced.
