About the book
Generation Z, those who are born after 1995, are becoming a part of business life, and they are getting interested in entrepreneurship. Some of them are even willing to establish a start-up during their studies. Even though empirical evidence is present for entrepreneurial intentions, entrepreneurial support mechanisms, and academic entrepreneurship, only a few studies focused on the topic of next-generation entrepreneurship, primarily driven by generation Z. However, generation Z will be dominating the workforce and hence the business life in the upcoming decade. By addressing next-generation entrepreneurship, this edited book aims to focus on the entrepreneurial intentions and activities carried out by next-generation entrepreneurs. Mechanisms needed to support the effort of generation Z in entrepreneurial activities, different challenges/motivations/opportunities/training in developing vs. developed countries, demographic differences such as gender, education, marital status, as well as cultural differences should be further topics this book aims to explore in case of next-generation entrepreneurship.
