About the book
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and interference (EMI) are within almost all aspects of our modern world. Increased use and dependence on wireless communication, as well as remotely controlling many critical devices, make the world more connected and viable to interference and attacks. Thus, new applications require different treatments and different materials that suit their environments. For example, in biomedical applications, flexible and smart reconfigurable material could be of interest, as well as lightweight, aerodynamic material in avionic applications. Newly engineered material and efficient design tools are of interest as well.
This book will aim to address the recent development of EMC and EMI issues in modern medical and health care, as well as automotive, avionic, IoT, industrial, and mobile communication in addition to efficient design tools and testing methods.
