The subject matter and aims of the book Skull Base Surgery is to give a contemporary look at neuroradiological imaging and diagnostics. In the treatment it is necessary to summarize and compare the current possibilities of microsurgery, endoscopy, to highlight the advantages and disadvantages of both modalities. The aim is to incorporate the possibilities of complementary methods of radiosurgery and endovascular neuroradiology into the management of individual diseases. Emphasis should be placed on the use of current prognostic markers in adjuvant therapy. It is important to summarize current methods and possibilities of neurorehabilitation and compensation of neurological and oculomotor deficits, and to evaluate the quality of life.
