About the book
The development of science and material science occurs in a very rapid mode. While analytical chemistry can explain a lot of root area changes and development of materials, then more effort to follow, imitate and emulate the steps of natural synthesis and development are feasible. This book aims to discuss progress in medicinal chemistry rooting from the presence of chalcones, a group of chemical compounds that has several key-function to biological activities in plants. The important function in plant biochemistry processes, in modern time, is modified to certain purposes, to be extracted for similar functions in other living bodies, or to be explored with many angles for many important innovative syntheses, leading to new compounds or advanced materials with new biologically important functionalities. A computational approach is also important in applications in medicinal work. The work of synthetical and analytical chemistry in medicinal experimentation will follow some other new rules concerning ethical aspects, from medicine point of view.
