About the book

The educational processes taking place in the world at the present stage require raising the level of training of highly qualified teachers, teachers, scholars of different profiles. The use of active forms of teaching in teaching professionals and various disciplines is due to several reasons: students must not only gain some knowledge but also be able to apply them in a specific practical situation. For improvement and revitalization of the educational process is of great importance knowledge and taking into account those features of education, which determine the need for students to reorganize the existing stereotypes of educational work and equip them with new skills and learning and cognitive activity. Forming active student learning is one of the means of developing cognitive activity. The application of problematic and developmental training has led to the emergence of methods known as "active".


This project will provide an opportunity for all faculty members from all over the world to present their learning outcomes.
After all, modern society needs information in the field of psychological and pedagogical training of future students, teachers, scholars. The presented developments will add to the pedagogical case of knowledge, additional information that will be useful not only to teachers, teachers, and students but also parents.

Publishing process

Book initiated and editor appointed

Date completed: August 24th 2020

Applications to edit the book are assessed and a suitable editor is selected, at which point the process begins.

Chapter proposals submitted and reviewed

Deadline for chapter proposals: September 21st 2020

Potential authors submit chapter proposals ready for review by the academic editor and our publishing review team.

Register for the book

Approved chapters written in full and submitted

Deadline for full chapters: November 20th 2020

Once approved by the academic editor and publishing review team, chapters are written and submitted according to pre-agreed parameters

Full chapters peer reviewed

Review results due: February 8th 2021

Full chapter manuscripts are screened for plagiarism and undergo a Main Editor Peer Review. Results are sent to authors within 30 days of submission, with suggestions for rounds of revisions.

Book compiled, published and promoted

Expected publication date: April 9th 2021

All chapters are copy-checked and typesetted before being published. IntechOpen regularly submits its books to major databases for evaluation and coverage, including the Clarivate Analytics Book Citation Index in the Web of ScienceTM Core Collection. Other discipline-specific databases are also targeted, such as Web of Science's BIOSIS Previews.

Olena Ivanivna Lutsenko studied the peculiarities of the cardiovascular system in elderly and old people for two years and received her master\'s degree in biology from Cherkasy National University named after Bohdan Khmelnytskyy. In 2011, she entered postgraduate studies in Cherkasy National University named after Bohdan Khmelnytskyy and began to work on the features of menstrual cycle and its relationship to hemodynamics. She now works on research topics at the Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University of Alexander Dovzhenko and teaches medical and biological disciplines. She has published over 74 scientific works including five textbooks and two monographs. Recent studies focus on women’s menstrual cycle and its relationship with body typology, the period of puberty, and healthcare of the younger generation.

Introducing your Author Service Manager

As an Author Service Manager my responsibilities include monitoring and facilitating all publishing activities for authors and editors. From chapter submission and review, to approval and revision, copyediting and design, until final publication, I work closely with authors and editors to ensure a simple and easy publishing process. I maintain constant and effective communication with authors, editors and reviewers, which allows for a level of personal support that enables contributors to fully commit and concentrate on the chapters they are writing, editing, or reviewing. I assist authors in the preparation of their full chapter submissions and track important deadlines and ensure they are met. I help to coordinate internal processes such as linguistic review, and monitor the technical aspects of the process. As an ASM I am also involved in the acquisition of editors. Whether that be identifying an exceptional author and proposing an editorship collaboration, or contacting researchers who would like the opportunity to work with IntechOpen, I establish and help manage author and editor acquisition and contact.
