Pandemic is an epidemic of disease across a large area, for instance across multiple countries or even worldwide. Although the pandemics usually affect a large number of people, the number of affected people is not important to confirm a pandemics. The most important aspect in order to confirm the pandemic is the scope of affected area, based on existing statistics and expectation. Throughout history, there have been a number of pandemics of plague, typhus, influenza. One of the most devastating pandemics with more than 50 million people affected around the world was the Black Death due to plague. With a case of a pandemic, management, control and prediction are the most important. A pandemic has a severe effect on social aspects of human beings as well as the economy of the affected countries.
