He is a holder of two registered patents (Glucosinolate Compound from Broccoli and Composition Having Antioxidant and Antimicrobial Activity Comprising the Same) as well as a member of the American Chemical Society and the Indian Society of Chemists and Biologists (ISCB).

Dr. Debut is a pioneering researcher in nanotechnology, microscopic technique, solar cell, and photocatalysis who obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Lille, France. He is a holder of 10 registered patents (e.g. Buffered Optical Fibre and Method for Improving the Lifetime Thereof; Cascaded Raman Pump for Raman Amplification in Optical Systems).

About the book

Green Chemistry is at the frontiers of this continuously evolving interdisciplinary science and publishes research that attempts to reduce the environmental impact of the chemical enterprise by developing a technology base that is inherently non-toxic to living things and the environment. The book will simultaneously cover all the aspects of green chemistry including chemical synthesis, nano synthesis, eco-friendly processes, biomass, extraction techniques, energy, etc. which makes it a unique reference. For this book, we invite researchers related to green synthetic methods, characterization, and their applications as organic synthesis, nano synthesis, environmental remediation, medicine, etc. This will continue to encourage scientists to develop novel synthetic methods or improve the existing ones to circumvent some of the problems and favours all aspects of green chemistry. Submissions on all aspects of research as research articles and reviews around the world are equally welcome.

The proposed book is intended for academia, professionals, scientists as well as graduate and undergraduate students without any geographical limitations.

Applications to edit the book are assessed and a suitable editor is selected, at which point the process begins.

Chapter proposals submitted and reviewed

Potential authors submit chapter proposals ready for review by the academic editor and our publishing review team.

Approved chapters written in full and submitted

Deadline for full chapters: January 17th 2022

Once approved by the academic editor and publishing review team, chapters are written and submitted according to pre-agreed parameters

Full chapters peer reviewed

Review results due: April 7th 2022

Full chapter manuscripts are screened for plagiarism and undergo a Main Editor Peer Review. Results are sent to authors within 30 days of submission, with suggestions for rounds of revisions.

Book compiled, published and promoted

Expected publication date: June 6th 2022

All chapters are copy-checked and typesetted before being published. IntechOpen regularly submits its books to major databases for evaluation and coverage, including the Clarivate Analytics Book Citation Index in the Web of ScienceTM Core Collection. Other discipline-specific databases are also targeted, such as Web of Science's BIOSIS Previews.

Dr. Brajesh Kumar is currently an assistant professor and head in the Post Graduate Department of Chemistry, TATA College, Chaibasa, India. He received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Delhi, India, in 2009. His research interests include the development of sustainable and eco-friendly techniques for nanoparticle synthesis and their applications for environmental remediation, nanofibers, nanocomposites, nanomedicine, sensors, active films of organic solar cells, natural product extraction, purification and analysis, natural polymers, peptide chemistry, microwave, and ultrasound-assisted organic synthesis, and organic synthesis. Dr. Kumar has several national and international fellowships to his credit and has worked as a faculty member in various universities throughout India, Ecuador, and South Korea. He has also published numerous SCI/SCIE/Scopus research articles and is an active reviewer of more than seventy journals.
