The Nanoscience and nanotechnology fields will continue to grow due to the numerous benefits in our daily lives including human health, environmental safety, and device engineering. This will continue to encourage scientists to develop Zero-valent Iron (ZVI) or Iron oxide materials as their nanoparticles and nanocomposites have revealed many exciting and promising applications in environment, engineering, nanomedicine, catalysis, sensing, as therapeutic agents, food science and beyond. This book aims to cover the synthesis, characterization, and applications of ZVI or iron oxide materials and their composites all in one volume making it a unique reference. As a result of research and development in the area, these three aspects of synthesis, characterization, and applications have grown themselves covering many subtopics.
