Prof. Taiar is a specialist in the biomechanics of health disease and rehabilitation. In industry, his last work was the conception and validation of anti-fatigue mats Notrax society, and in sport, his last work focused on the development of swimsuits for a triathlon, swimming, and skiing for Brazil Olympic Games (2016) and winter Sotchi 2014 Olympic Games. Currently, he is Head of Redha Taiar Biomechanical Engineering and a Vice head of the congress of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Society.

About the book

Our health and wellbeing are influenced by a varied range of factors such as social, cultural, economic, psychological and environmental across our lives. For the first part, sport or physical activity (PA) can be a good vector permitting linking the most factors. Physical activity for a human is very important. She permits to improve the feel-good and can get health benefits. Through the practice, human increase mobility and reduce risk of disease. The overarching aim is to increase the daily life quality. Changing adults’ behaviour by physical practice could reduce illness and decrease costs to society concerning health problems. PA improve feel-good and health benefits. This by increasing human mobility and decreasing risk of disease. PA reduces the risk of developing heart disease, decrease stroke, high blood pressure, cancers, diabetes and osteoporosis, control weight and help to ease stress. In the second part, sport for high-level athletes is also explored by the news technologies applied to practice and performance.

The purpose of this book is to quantify the state of progress in terms of the use of the latest technologies permitting to measure the impact of sports human from sedentary to high-level sports performance. Technologies can be artificial intelligence, virtual reality, modelling, simulation and Computing in the musculoskeletal system.

All chapters are copy-checked and typesetted before being published. IntechOpen regularly submits its books to major databases for evaluation and coverage, including the Clarivate Analytics Book Citation Index in the Web of ScienceTM Core Collection. Prof. Redha Taiar, Ph.D. Biomechanics is a Professor at the University of Reims, Champaign France. He is Head of the Redha Taiar Biomechanical Engineering Society developed for sport and medical advice for the industry. His research focuses on the industry of engineering for medicine and sport. He is an engineer for different industries such as Arena for sport and Sidas, Medicapteur for medical development. For industry workers, his last project was for the Notrax Society (Conception and validation of anti-fatigue mats). For sport, his last project focused on the development of a swimsuit for triathlons and swimming for Brazil Olympic Games (2016) and the suit fabrics for skiing at the Olympic Games at Sotchi in 2014. He is a specialist in the biomechanics of health disease and rehabilitation.
