About the book
Well test interpretation, temperature and rate-pressure measurements have highly improved during the last couple of decades. Then, the reading accurate and repeatable measurements are complex, risky and costly; therefore, a reliable reservoir characterization very much depends upon these events.
The scope of this book is to present a description of the well testing devices, their principles of operations, their limitations and the conditions under which they better work. This also involves the resolution of the tools and the different tests that are run into a well along with the adequate equipment used for obtaining reliable information. Also, the book deals with the latest information on DTS (distributed Temperature Sensors) which has great importance in well stimulation, enhanced oil recovery, among others. This book will be a self-contained collection of scholarly papers targeting an audience of practicing researchers, academics, PhD students and other scientists.
The contents of the book will be written by multiple authors and edited by experts in the field.
