About the book
In this century, cancer has become one of the major problems and diseases causing predominant death, even surpassing heart diseases. It is characterized by two points; there is no control over the growth of cancer cells, and it can metastasize and migrate from the original site to different parts of the body. Therefore, the early detection and development of effective treatment has become the focus in the field in order to palliate and cure this critical disease. The main manner of doing so is by running well designed oncology trial(s) among cancer patients. Therefore, the main aim of this book is to statistically review oncology trials designed among cancer patients in the past and present in order to detect their significant role in developing an effective anti-cancer treatment(s).
