Acne are the most common cutaneous manifestation affecting adolescent population worldwide. Moderate to severe acne affect 20% of the population and its severity correlates with adolescence. The yearly costs of treatment for acne are significant but the disease can be recalcitrant despite it. The disease causes significant morbidity which can severely affect the quality of life.
