Nanomaterials received increasing consideration in many technological advancements owing to their distinct physical-, chemical-, and biological properties compared to their bulk counterparts. The emergence of nanomaterials created a significant impact on fundamental science, academic research, and commercial applications.
This book primarily focused on recently developed novel synthetic approaches such as topochemical synthesis, exfoliation techniques, and physical/chemical methods to prepare novel nanomaterials with various morphologies such as sheets, rods, core-shell, and hybrid heterostructures, etc. Additionally, this book also describes (i) advanced characterization tools used for nanomaterials, (ii) nucleation and growth kinetics of nanomaterials, and (iii) size and structure-dependent properties of nanomaterials.
