About the book
Chirality-related phenomena can be observed at all levels of nature and chirality is a concept related not only to organic chemistry but also to each field of natural science. In this book, the editor plans to make use of his experience of editing two books on chirality in the past. Therefore, this book aims to record a wider range of interdisciplinary content on chirality, with an emphasis on the latest advances. This book aims to compile research results, commentary, reviews, etc. that have dealt with (chiroptical) spectroscopy, physical properties (magnets, conductors, non-linear optics, and so on), computational chemistry (of asymmetric organic synthesis), and/or theoretical chemistry and their discussions on chirality. The book will also focus on chirality and its strong connection from organic chemistry to biochemistry and biology.
