This book presents research work on composite structures which includes particle reinforced composites, fiber-reinforced composites, green and biocomposites. The processing techniques used for preparing the composites and testing methods such as microstructure, hardness, tensile strength, impact strength, fatigue strength, wear and corrosion are reported. Research work pertaining to novel composites can be presented. The composites can be prepared by reinforcing two or three reinforcements which offer better properties when compared to matrix. The composites can be fabricated using a compression moulding technique, stir casting process, squeeze casting process, this casting and vapour deposition methods like chemical vapour deposition and physical vapour deposition. The properties can be examined using mechanical, physical and chemical testing methods. Optimum composite structures can be used in engineering applications using response surface methodology, Taguchi Design and other conventional optimization techniques. In addition, machinability studies on composites shall be added which will be used to produce end products.
