About the book
The Earth’s magnetic field extends into space and forms a protective bubble called the magnetosphere. Earth’s magnetic field is vital to life on our planet. It is a complex and dynamic force that protects us from cosmic radiation and charged particles from the Sun. The study of the Earth's magnetosphere is focused on investigating the Earth’s magnetosphere and its relationship with the solar wind. Knowledge of Newton’s law, Maxwell’s equations, Helmholtz’s theorem, and more other theories helps with understanding this relation. Moreover, understanding magnetosphere substorms, magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling, plasma and particle simulations is also beneficial. Also, knowing the role of satellite measurements in this issue and examining the effect of the geomagnetic storms is useful. The book “Magnetosphere” will among other things also highlight new methods to study the Earth’s space.
