He received his doctoral and postdoctoral degrees from Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), China, in 2012 and 2015, respectively. He is a member of the ThermoPhysical Society of XJTU, GCUF Physics Society, and the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), Pakistan.

About the book

Simple and complex turbulence is one main issue in tackling applied science and engineering flow troubles. Modified numerical schemes, large-eddy simulations, and powerful computer powers are now accessible for solving the equations and corresponding issues. The applied sciences and modern technologies are always involved in turbulence effects and consistent computational fluid dynamics examination depends progressively more on the performance of the turbulence experimental, numerical models, and large-scale simulation methods.

This book will provide the latest and more predictive research work and discuss new developments in the field of turbulence modeling and investigations, with a special focus on applied-nature issues and their solutions. Eddy simulation book will look at a variety of areas, including but not limited to: Experimental and Numerical Studies, turbulence modeling/ control and applications, direct and large eddy simulations, heat transfer and methods, Vehicle aerodynamics flows, combustion system modeling, and particle image velocimetry, Gyrokinetic Large Eddy Simulations, plasma microturbulence, compressible space plasma turbulence, phase transition and transport phenomena’s.

Applications to edit the book are assessed and a suitable editor is selected, at which point the process begins.

Deadline Extended: Open for Submissions

Potential authors submit chapter proposals ready for review by the academic editor and our publishing review team.

Approved chapters written in full and submitted

Deadline for full chapters: July 11th 2022

Once approved by the academic editor and publishing review team, chapters are written and submitted according to pre-agreed parameters

Full chapters peer reviewed

Review results due: September 29th 2022

Full chapter manuscripts are screened for plagiarism and undergo a Main Editor Peer Review. Results are sent to authors within 30 days of submission, with suggestions for rounds of revisions.

Book compiled, published and promoted

Expected publication date: November 28th 2022

All chapters are copy-checked and typesetted before being published. IntechOpen regularly submits its books to major databases for evaluation and coverage, including the Clarivate Analytics Book Citation Index in the Web of ScienceTM Core Collection. Other discipline-specific databases are also targeted, such as Web of Science's BIOSIS Previews.

His research interests include computational physics, complex fluids/plasmas, CFD, complex Fluids. Currently, Dr. Shahzad is an associate professor in the Department of Physics, the Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF), Pakistan. He is also a member of the ThermoPhysical Society of XJTU, GCUF Physics Society, and the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), Pakistan.
