About the book
Graduate medical education (GME) is a continually evolving, highly dynamic area within the complex fabric of the modern healthcare environment. Given the rapidly changing regulatory, financial, and oversight requirements, many GME programs face daily challenges of “keeping up” with the most recent updates to the complex operational code required by the multiple stakeholders involved.
Volume 1 of this series was successfully completed, far exceeding the Editors’ expectations in terms of author participation, quality and quantity of submissions. Now in its 2nd Volume, this book cycle aims to provide GME professionals with a practical and readily applicable set of reference papers that touch upon some of the most controversial contemporary topics, from gender equality issues to trainee wellness and scholarly activities.
