In Software systems once failure occurs operations can be automatically redirected to the second database. Also in the Power sources, alternative sources are used as generators for electricity failures. It can play a vital role in a disaster recovery strategy. Both high availability and fault tolerance are essential functions during minor failures and in the event of a disaster.
