About the book
The book will reflect the state-of-the-art on the waste power plant. It is envisioned as split into 6 main topics: 1) pyrolysis and gasification processes, 2) co-incineration of waste, 3) waste-to energy: approach, challenges and case studies, 4) plastic waste as energy sources in cement kilns, 5) best available techniques for waste incineration, and 6) life cycle assessment. The chapters are expected to be structured around problems illustrated by the keywords and future innovations in the development and application of the current state of knowledge with a view to waste power plants operation. The editors are hoping that this book is to move the knowledge on the waste power plant process one step forward and assists in developing environmental and human health protection awareness of the incineration of waste. It will hopefully be of interest to scientific researchers, industry managers, and experts from environmental and public interest groups.
